2006 National SOPHE Midyear Meeting (Las Vegas, NV, from 05-02-2006 07:00 AM to 05-04-2006 05:00 PM) — by annette

The abstracts are complete and the theme is “Betting on Health Education: Increasing the Odds for Collaboration”. The NC SOPHE Delegate will attend the House of Delegate’s meeting scheduled Wednesday, May 3rd from 1-5 p.m. Pre-conference workshops will be held on Thursday, May 4th in the morning and afternoon, and the SABPAC Site Visitor Training Workshop will be held on Sunday, May 7th planned by our very own Mary Hawkins.

The theme for the conference is health and human rights. In addition, five subthemes have been selected which include environmental health and social justice, health disparities, and marketing prevention.
