Youth Council Coordinator
Charlotte Mecklenburg Drug Free Coalition
Charlotte Mecklenburg Drug Free Coalition is seeking a qualified part-time coordinator (20 hours per week contract) for the Students Preventing and Informing on Drugs and Alcohol (SPIDA) Youth Council. Essential duties include developing and providing youth leadership programs; cultivating relationships with youth, community sponsors, service providers, government entities; developing/maintainig a website, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining and providing calendars and providing staff support to the SPIDA youth council and the Coalition
The successful candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in a social science and possess the ability to develop programs. Also required is the ability to learn about prevention, addiction disease, and recovery models; exceptional interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. A proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required. Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
