Implement science-based prevention curricula and alternative activities with high-risk youth onsite at school, faith and community-based organizations; assist in billing the Integrated Payment and Reporting System for activities implemented with target populations; document and chart individualized service notes for youth and comply with charting policies and procedures; conduct ongoing monitoring, surveillance and evaluation of activities; collect data and submit all necessary reports; evaluate programs in consultation with funding evaluators; retool strategies as necessary; provide training and technical assistance to Wake County youth programs to encourage community-based organizations to build their internal capacity and develop interest in serving high-risk youth; collaborate with community-based organizations, schools, families, and other professionals; participate in relevant trainings and meetings; submit monthly State and County reports and bi-annual Wake County Cooperative Extension reports; some travel will be required. Notes: This is a grant-funded position and therefore time-limited. *Previous applicants remain under consideration and need not re-apply.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health Education or related field and two years of experience as a public health educator; or equivalent. Special Requirements: A valid driver's license and a "safe" driving record required. A criminal record check will be conducted. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with youth in school, faith and community-based organizations and substance use prevention knowledge and curricula facilitation required; experience in service notes and charting procedures preferred; strong organization, written and oral communications skills; strong computer skills preferred; knowledge of Hispanic community; fluent English is a requirement and Spanish language skills are preferred.
