Description of Work:
The Health Education Supervisor assesses, plans, coordinates and evaluates health education programs and ensures quality, cost effective health services are provided by educated competent staff. Responsibilities include the following: • Serves as a resource to community, health and human service organizations and other Health Department employees. • Coordinates health education evaluation and quality assurance. • Coordinates and supervises HIV counseling and testing program, Men's health, and teen pregnancy prevention. • Plans Health Education programs based on needs of child and adult populations. • Develops funding proposals based on community health priorities.

Candidate Requirements:
Graduation with a Bachelor's Degree in health education or related behavioral science and Master's Degree in health education or health behavior. Three (3) years public health education experience preferred.
