Teen Health Connection's medical practice provides comprehensive medical and mental health services for adolescents. Our services include ongoing teen-specific primary health care, as well as adolescent medicnie consultations.

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating community education programs for the Center for Disordered Eating and for teaching and evaluating the Healthy Choices health education programs. The incumbent designs and implements behavioral change strategies and special projects to assist adolescents in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Bachelor’s degree in Health Education or related Behavioral Science field is required. Master’s degree in Public Health or Health Education is preferred. Three to five years of health education experience or work in related field of behavioral science required. Must have a broad knowledge base of adolescent health issues to facilitate the ability to comfortably respond to the unpredictable needs and inquiries of a diverse adolescent population. Experience working with adolescents, particularly an at-risk population, is essential. Valid NC driver’s license and dependable transportation is required.
