Provide community health education planning, implementation, and evaluation services for the Health Department in multiple programs areas but primarily in the areas of Infectious and Disease Prevention and Control. Require community outreach, convening community-based organizations for collaborative work and quarterly reporting to the NC State Health Department. Also coordinates the Guilford County Community Lay Health Advisor Program. Special Work Schedule: May be required to work some evenings or weekends as needed.
Master's degree in public health education or in public health with a major in public health education, or graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in health education or a related field and two years of experience in health education or a related field, or graduation from a four-year college or university and three years experience in public health education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bi-lingual persons are encouraged to apply.
